Analyst/Associate, Operations

To support day-to-day operations ensuring that the Bank’s policies, operational guidelines are adhered to by team members, consistent delivery of quality services to clients and optimal utilization of available resources.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review documents presented against LC conditions.

2. Input documents presentation in system.

3. Retrieve LC files for documents checking.

4. Perform sanction checking of relevant parties in documents.

5. Prepare SWIFT for advising discrepancies to presenting and issuing banks.

6. Prepare covering letters.

7. Reply correspondences from issuing or presenting banks

8. Handling special transactions referred by GTB.

9. Ensure transactions meeting service standard and in accordance with procedure manual.

10. Perform daily operations of Trade transactions to include processing of incoming correspondence, prepare LC advising, clean reimbursement authorization and claim.

11. Any other assignments assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• University Degree

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking operations with knowledge in Trade Operations;

• Experience in Commodity Trade, Confirming and Factoring is preferable.

• Exposure in SWIFT Alliance, Trade systems and Accounting systems.

• Familiar with UCP600, ISP98, URDG758, URC 522 and ISBP

• Good communication skills

• Hands on experience in MS Words & Excel

• Fluent in English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
