What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Knowledge Management Engineer.  This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US EUCOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.  This position is required to travel OCONUS. 

The Knowledge Management Engineer (KME) shall work with EUCOM’S Information Superiority Knowledge Management team in support of the Chief of Staff office in executing process improvement initiatives. Acting as Site Collection Administrators for EUCOM’s collaboration sites, manage daily operations and maintenance of SharePoint portals and Knowledge Management tools across multiple classification levels.  Conduct process mapping, data-gathering, and analysis activities with EUCOM staff.  This includes conducting interviews, analyzing information exchange requirements, and developing process maps. Recommend and execute KM strategies, plans, processes, tools, KM assessment reports, and roadmaps to improve EUCOM’s KM practices. Contribute functional expertise to the management of EUCOM deliverables, develop client-ready products, including briefings, reports, and internal communications, and leverage industry best practices in knowledge management and business process management.

More About the Role:

KME shall possess the ability to:

  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, lists, permission sets, forms, and out-of-the-box (OOTB) web page customizations supporting customer requirements.
  • Design, build, implement and sustain SharePoint Power Applications in a SharePoint Online environment. 
  • Develop, build, implement and sustain workflows in multiple SharePoint environments supporting effective business processes and organizational knowledge capture.
  • Develop, build, implement and sustain Power BI reports to facilitate organizational objectives and support knowledge flow.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, develop Business Case Analyses, and recommend solutions for streamlining business processes through the integration of existing tools and communication streams, the acquisition of new tools, and the development of new processes and solutions. 
  • Design, coordinate, and conduct training to drive successful delivery and completion of process mapping and analysis, data collection, process modeling, and the facilitation of effective best practice Knowledge Management techniques throughout the organization.
  • Work with customers to identify authoritative sources of data and to define customer specific goals for data integration and synthesis.
  • Define and implement improvement projects in coordination with the Knowledge Management solutions development team.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint (2016, 2019 and Online Products), Office Suite, and Visio is essential.  5+ years of experience in a Business Process Analyst/Engineer or similar type role.
  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Administration, including SharePoint Site Collection Administration, SharePoint page design, permissions management and troubleshooting.
  • BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized OR AA/AS + 7 years recent specialized OR a major cert + 9 years recent specialized OR 11 years of recent specialized experience
  • Experience with workflow design and implementation applications (e.g. SharePoint Designer, Nintex Workflow).
  • Experience with Business Analytics/Business Intelligence dashboard creation utilizing Microsoft Power BI, Salesforce Tableau, or similar products.
  • Experience with Knowledge Management (KM) or business process mapping/reengineering in a military headquarters environment
  • Experience working in a 3-4 star level military/joint command or similar type organization. Experience with Joint Operational Planning at Action Officer-level or above is a plus.
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills and able to work in an open office environment.
  • Familiarity with business process engineering methodologies & frameworks (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
  • Must possess AIT Level II certification(s) IAW DoD 8570.1
  • Have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Must be able to meet TESA requirements
  • Must have a working knowledge of industry standard Knowledge Management (KM) and Business Process Engineering best practices.
  • Must possess a proven ability to exercise mature professional judgment and communicate effectively with senior-level military leaders, stakeholders, IT process and business owners.
  • Must be a team player who can communicate well, positively adapt, prioritize effectively, and quickly respond in a high-paced, close-knit, collective open working environment
  • Must possess proven experience working in a complex technology-driven enterprise solutions/systems implementation environment

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Certification in and/or knowledge of industry wide knowledge management, business analysis frameworks and methodologies (ie. PMP, Lean/DFSS, DMAIC)
  • Experience working in an AGILE development environment.
  • Involvement with KM professional community; active in forums or newsgroups.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
