Thomson Reuters Customer Trust team is looking for an experienced individual to support the evolving customer compliance program across both Thomson Reuters software solutions and customer facing products globally. The Customer Trust team is responsible for delivering critical security responses, leveraging key authoritative sources and working with a variety of stakeholders for the successful completion of third-party security questionnaires, document requests, audit requests, security calls and other security inquiries. The Senior Customer Trust Analyst directly helps support the growth of the business by helping our customers understand the security posture of Thomson Reuters along with supporting the products that the clients procure. This is a fast-paced role on a high performing team that has a large amount of visibility within the larger Information Security Risk Management team.

About the role

  • 7+ years of working in information security, ideally external or internal IT Audit. Big 5 or other Financial Services organization experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • At least one security industry recognized certification (ISO27001, CISA, CISSP etc.)
  • Excellent communicator, with the ability to write and speak about technology and security topics with precision.
  • Good business acumen with a successful track record in aligning to business drivers.
  • Experience of auditing to external requirements (regulatory or contractual).

About You

  • 10+ years external or internal IT Audit experience, ideally from Big 5 or other Financial Services organization.
  • Experience leading teams for ongoing operational deliverables.
  • Experience of auditing infrastructure, databases, and networks.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including usage of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with security regulations, for example working with QSA’s, SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits, ISO27001, Payment Card Industry (PCI), Data Privacy, etc.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Awareness of industry trends and developments.
  • Strong team player with the ability to execute in a matrix structure, across time zones and national boundaries.
