Director, Finance Transformation Domain Engagement

Description -

We are seeking a senior leader to lead domain engagement supporting end‑to‑end process design and execution across core finance domains and managing a team of SME process owners (i.e O2C, R2R, FP&A). This role ensures consistency, quality, and integration of finance processes, serving as a critical bridge between process design, technology enablement, and operational execution within the finance transformation organization.

This role requires a strong blend of transformation leadership, process and technical depth, business acumen, and people leadership.

Scope:

  • Lead domain engagement supporting end‑to‑end process design and execution across core finance domains
  • Partner across the Finance Function, IT, and Global Process ownership to enable end to end transformation with cross functional implications
  • Lead an organization of approximately 6-8 team members
  • Drive enterprise-scale transformation through end to end process engagement leveraging data, AI and automation solutions

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Process Leadership

  • Facilitate the end‑to‑end process architecture design across finance domains
  • Ensure consistent design standards, taxonomy, and governance across SMEs
  • Drive cross-domain alignment to eliminate silos and optimize E2E flows

2. Leadership of SME Process Owners

  • Lead and coordinate domain SMEs (i.e. O2C, R2R, FP&A)
  • Set priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure cohesive decision‑making
  • Provide coaching and guidance on process design and transformation delivery

3. Transformation Design Leadership

  • Ensure alignment between business needs, control requirements, and system capabilities
  • Partner closely with Technology and Process leads to drive integrated solutions
  • Partner with Data & Analytics to embed decision‑grade insights

5. Controls, Governance & Risk Alignment

  • Ensure consistent application of controls‑by‑design principles across domains
  • Partner with Strategy and Governance Lead to manage compliance and audit requirements
  • Proactively identify and mitigate cross-process risks and dependencies

6. Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define enterprise-level process KPIs and success metrics
  • Drive cross-domain performance optimization and standardization
  • Ensure sustainable design that can be executed effectively by Finance Operations

    Qualifications:

    Required Experience:

    • 15+ years experience, including deep experience across multiple E2E domains
    • Proven leadership in finance transformation, ERP implementations, or process redesign initiatives
    • Prior experience leading cross-functional or multi-domain teams
    • Strong experience partnering with senior executives and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in matrixed environments
    • Experience working in Finance, Finance Transformation, FP&A, Controllership, or other finance-adjacent environments with strong understanding of financial processes and decision support needs.

    Technical and Functional Expertise

    • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance interdependencies across O2C, R2R, FP&A
    • Experience with ERP platforms and finance technology ecosystem
    • Knowledge of automation, analytics, and data-driven process design
    • Strong grounding in controls, compliance, and governance frameworks
    • Familiarity with modern tools and platforms used in analytics, visualization, data engineering, and automation
    • Strong understanding of data governance, controls, privacy, security, and auditability in enterprise environments

    Leadership Capabilities

    • Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and execution skills
    • Excellent communication, executive storytelling, and stakeholder management capabilities
    • Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, drive change, and influence without direct authority
    • Strong people leadership, coaching, and organizational development skills
    • Practical, outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to balance technical rigor and business value.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    • MBA, CPA, CA, or equivalent advanced professional qualification is a plus
    • Experience in large multinational or Fortune 500 environments
    • Experience working across global teams and time zones

    In this role, success will be measured by delivering:

    • Standardized process frameworks and design principles
    • Integrated transformation roadmaps (process + tech + data)
    • Cross-domain KPI framework and performance reporting
    • Decision-making governance model for process changes

    The base pay range for this role is 371,300 PLN to 562,250 PLN annually with additional cash compensation opportunities in the form of annual cash incentive bonuses. In addition, this role may be eligible for equity awards (typically granted in the form of restricted stock units) that are independently granted by the Company's U.S. parent corporation, HP Inc., on a discretionary basis under its equity plan. Pay varies by job-related skills, effort, responsibility, working conditions, experience and work location.
