Job Description:

As Director, Core Sales Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and delivering an exceptional client experience. You’ll lead a team of 10 Sales Strategist Case Managers, providing strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to ensure flawless execution. In this role, you’ll manage work assignments, serve as a key escalation point for Sales and Implementation leaders, and implement strategies that enhance quality, efficiency, and revenue within the Workplace Investing Core Market segment ($1–$50M).

Your team will serve plan sponsors and their advisors and is focused primarily on supporting confirmed Defined Contribution sales from sales commitment through implementation including – internal audit of pricing and funds to ensure profitability and risk mitigation, consultation of available fund options and confirmation of fund lineups with Sales, advisors, and plan sponsors. Your ultimate mission: create the best possible onboarding experience for our newest clients and set the stage for long-term partnerships.

The Expertise You Have

  • Retirement plan recordkeeping and administration experience
  • Experience working with sales teams or in collaborative partnerships
  • Supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Approximately 20% travel required
  • Series 7, 63, 24 licenses required or able to obtain within 120 days
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12+ years’ experience or master’s degree with 10+ years’ experience

  • Support the team in managing SLAs, automation, and quality control throughout the sales handoff process until plan funding is complete.

  • Perform securities compliance oversight as the principal for assigned registered sales representatives.

Workplace Investing (WI) Sales is a collaborative, fast paced and exciting environment. The Sales Optimization Acceleration and Retention (SOAR) organization in WI Sales plays a key role in the Workplace Investing Sales and Retention process. We help ensure that Fidelity demonstrates our customer focus, deep industry expertise, outstanding participant and plan sponsor experiences and innovative technology throughout the sales process to win new clients, which will ensure we deliver on the annual Workplace Investing sales and retention goals.
