The Accounts Payable Manager accurately records all transactions in the correct period, and timely pays all vendors and customers. The Accounts Payable Manager applies advanced knowledge and skills to review and manage all aspects of vendor activity, research and answer questions, complete complex projects, and identify opportunities to innovate.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Invoice and Expense – 30%
Reviews and manages the processes related to supplier invoices and ensures timely payments
Develops and maintains strong, positive supplier relationships
Manages and maintains supplier information in the accounting system
Maintains and files clinician and supplier records for 1099 reporting
Administers, manages and supports the payment of company credit cards, associate credit cards and the reimbursement of associate expenses
Team Management – 70%
Reviews payable coding for accuracy and completeness
Reviews payable aging to ensure timely payment of all payable transactions
Leads team projects and manages progress to ensure compliance and accuracy
Creates and maintains training materials, procedural manuals, and presentations
Maintains the overall efficiency and effectiveness of team
Oversees and completes month-end close procedures
Reviews and monitors the delegation for workload within the teams to ensure maximum efficiency
Directs team processes and procedures; ensures work is completed in accordance with Company standards
Interviews and selects candidates for hire
Conducts 90-day and annual performance evaluations; coaches associate to maximum performance
Creates and delivers associate corrective actions and performance improvement plans as needed
Keeps senior management informed of accomplishments and/or opportunity for improvement
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS (IF APPLICABLE)
May work on special projects or other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY/BUDGETARY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY
Directly manages team of 3-4 nonexempt direct reports
QUALIFICATIONS – EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience
Previous experience leading teams preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
Knowledge of Workday and Salesforce a plus
