Location.: 1 person for Middle & East / 1 person for Middle & West of Slovakia

The Key Account Specialist is charged with sales efforts and proper relationship development with physician targets, pharmacists and administrative leads within appointed institutions and surrounding hospital service areas and stakeholders.

  • Responsibility for achieving pharmaceutical product sales to new and established physician and healthcare accounts to achieve sales objectives and greater market penetration.

  • Creation of a plan to achieve objectives through sales and servicing of multiple physician and healthcare professional accounts in a prescribed territory.

  • Scheduling appointments and making preplanned sales presentations to customers.

  • Initiating contact and scheduling appointments with potential new customers.

  • Making regular visits to customer locations to gather information on orders and market conditions.

  • Identifying customer needs and recommending new products to address them.

  • Conducting competitive research to aid in the development of customer and product focused presentation packages for sales.

  • Preparation of sales reports and documents as required.

  • Reviewing and analyzing customer orders and product sales and establishing an improvement plan for those that are not on target.

  • Follow-up with customers to resolve any issues and ensure satisfaction.

  • Collaboration with other departments to ensure a timely resolution. Provides input to sales forecast and submits to management.

Essential knowledge and skills:

  • Previous minimum 3 years’ experience in a hospital sales role in pharmaceutical industry with proven record of successful sales,
  • Key account management process proven capabilities: analyze, plan, prepare, implement, follow-up
  • High level of selling skills and regional management
  • Business oriented person with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • English language on communicative level
  • Driving license - active driver
  • High level of ethical standards in business
  • Team player – proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-functional team
  • Experience from cardiology / pulmonology field is an advantage
  • Fluent Slovak and English language
  • Multitask approach
  • Positive attitude, personal accountability
  • Willing to learn/improve
  • Courage to take action/responsibility for solutions/results
