Job Description:


As the Volvo Cars Automotive Key Account Sales Executive within the Transportation and Electronics Business Group (TEBG) at 3M Sweden, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and growing share of 3M’s Automotive portfolio solutions at Volvo Cars and also maintain and grow account relationships at all levels including direct interface with Volvo Cars Engineering, Design, Product Development, Purchasing as well as Program Management located in Gothenburg and other locations as required.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading all key account sales activity for 3M Automotive Solutions, implementing the TEBG Automotive Strategy, including Portfolio and Operational priorities
  • Driving high levels of customer engagement and collaboration across various functional teams and stakeholders within the customer's organization, leading to growth in account relationship, pipeline, and sales
  • Establishing the right 3M solutions based on customer engagement, insights, and deep process understanding, and implementing those solutions in collaboration with application engineering and other internal 3M teams
  • Support being part of the growing Global TEBG Automotive Sales team, sharing success and learning from each other

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (Scientific/Engineering background preferred)
  • 3+ years related working experience as technical sales or business development (preferably in within Automotive industry)
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Fluency in English and Swedish
  • Advanced communication and prioritization skills with the ability to drive engagement/lead relationships and collaboration on multiple levels across many organizations
