How you will create an impact

The Senior Application Management Lead is responsible for the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) area for multiple technology initiatives supporting the Enterprise Risk Management business in onboarding and maintaining existing SaaS applications. This role provides the technical leadership and expertise in Enterprise Risk Management including Operational Risk, Global Regulatory and Controls, Vendor Management, Self Assessment management, and Risk Event reporting.

The incumbent will be highly engaged with Global Risk, and Enterprise Systems partners to maintain and enhance SaaS applications, and perform technical reviews for these applications. This role requires experience with Archer development, Microsoft .NET development (C# and ASP.NET), support management, enhancement planning and reporting, and Microsoft SQL application development.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional and technical analysis of SaaS solutions

  • Analyze complex Intranet related business requirements and processes, ensure traceability of requirements for web applications, integrations and data systems

  • Lead design review sessions with technical and functional resources with multiple IT and Business teams like Scrums, Design Reviews, Incident Investigation, and Testing

  • Ensure governance and compliance to Enterprise architectural standards, policies, and practices like Single Sign-On, Security Assessments, Access Recertifications

  • Builds relationships with technology leaders to learn best practices and sustainable solutions to common problems

  • Ensure SDLC processes related to analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance are followed for all application changes

  • Identify the most complex problems/issues/ assignments and identify barriers hindering support of the applications and work with the development team for resolution

  • Coordinate with functional and technical staff and lead system-related projects and initiatives

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies

  • Provide weekly updates to IT and business management to keep all informed on the status

What you''ll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred

  • At least 5 years of experience in application development, testing, and operations

  • Significant experience with Archer Technologies LLC Archer Integrated Risk product

  • Significant experience with ASP.NET applications

  • Significant experience with Microsoft T-SQL database and tools

  • Experience with Window servers to review and approve changes to software and infrastructure services such as Windows Scheduler, Splunk, Security Patching and Qualsys

  • Proven ability to partner across multiple technical and non-technical areas

  • Excellent written and communication skills

  • Experience in managing remote vendor development teams

  • Results oriented and be able to execute under pressure

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to take initiative and work independently

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $99,000-$143,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
