Position Summary

• Solve complex business data problems using all the modern tools and technologies. 

• Design, Develop and maintain optimal data pipeline to assemble large & complex data sets that meets analytics and business requirements for various CVS Lines of Business 

• Identify, design, and implement engineering process improvements through automating manual processes, optimizing data pipelines, re-designing services for greater scalability. 

• Build the frameworks required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using GCP technologies. 

• Operationalize and automate the data pipelines on GCP cloud environments 

• Integrates Data from variety of sources and ensures Data Quality. 

• Automate Pipeline Testing and Data Validations.

• Evaluates & Scores Tools and provides recommendations on the right tools for the requirements. 

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience. 

• 3+ years  hands on development in Cloud Environment such as GCP/Azure/AWS

• Minimum 3 years’ experience with agile development required

• Programming languages: PySpark, Python, SQL, Java , NodeJS, Unix Shell scripting 

• Database  experience: Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)

• Working experience of CI/CD pipeline, GIT, Stash, Bit Bucket, Artifactory, Jenkins, etc. 

• Test Automation experience.

• Excellent Debugging and Troubleshooting Skills. 

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFe Agile experience.

• Experience working in GCP and  Google cloud services such as BigQuery, Data Proc, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, cloud composer etc.

• ETL Framework development skills.

• Experience with Streaming

• Experience with Kubernetes, microservices

• Excellent Communication Skills. 

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline. Master's degree preferred 

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$92,700.00 - $222,480.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
