We are looking for technically minded linguists to provide translation to support the research and exploitation of technical data sources to assess technical capabilities of foreign ground forces and populate and maintain databases on foreign conventional weapons and command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems

Job Description:

• Possess sufficient proficiency in Russian to translate technical writing.
• Accurately translate technical documents and technical manuals – from Russian to English.
• As a member of an analytic team, perform OSINT searches to identify systems and their components, documents, and technical manuals.
• Apply OSINT and linguistic skills to assist in processing equipment and components.
• Apply OSINT and linguistic skills to access, retrieve, and perform targeted translation of documents and technical manuals to assist in processing equipment and components.
• Assist analysts with strategies and techniques to employ in conducting OSINT searches.

Minimum requirements:

• ACTIVE Top-Secret Clearance - TS/SCI.
• MA/MS degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience conducting translation, transcription, translation, and/or interpretation.
• Minimum rating of 2+ in reading and language comprehension.
• Expertise in MS Office and conducting internet research in Russian language.
• Ability to pass an advanced English test.

Desired capabilities:

• Level 3 Russian language – reading.
• Level 0 Ukrainian language – reading.
• OSINT training certification and SILO familiarity.
• Able to work in an industrial warehouse environment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200 - 158,100 USD
