Job Purpose

To support employees of GGH using computers and the software necessary to perform their daily duties as well as maintain the IT infrastructure of GGH entity to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of GGH IT infrastructure, minimize downtime, and support seamless day-to-day operations for all employees.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality onsite and remote IT support to end users, including senior executives.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PCs, servers, mobile devices, printers, networks, video conferencing systems, WMS devices, CCTV cameras, time and attendance, and access control systems, ensuring minimal user disruption.

  • Configure, install, test, patch, and maintain IT hardware and related software.

  • Oversee the local IT infrastructure and take immediate action to resolve outages as quickly as possible.

  • Coordinate efficiently with remote IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents and problems.

  • Improve the user technology experience by advising and educating users on effective and productive use of IT solutions.

  • Act as the frontline contact for corporate technology implementations and new technologies, supporting users throughout the entire technology lifecycle.

  • Perform proactive maintenance and system monitoring to prevent potential issues.

  • Provide recommendations regarding repair, upgrade, decommissioning, and procurement of IT hardware and software.

  • Respond promptly to IT support tickets, in-person requests, phone calls, and Teams messages, escalating complex issues to senior staff or vendors when required.

  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of resolved issues to support future troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory and ensure IT documentation is accurate and up to date.

  • Participate in investment projects, support annual budget planning, and monitor actual IT expenditures.

  • Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain a high quality of work in line with objectives set by the supervisor.

  • Perform additional tasks assigned by superiors to support organizational objectives, ensure operational continuity, and enhance overall effectiveness.

Expectations:

  • Solid knowledge of Information Technologies, including fundamental concepts, systems, platforms, tools, hardware, software, and services.

  • Understanding of the widespread use of IT in the manufacturing industry and common IT roles.

  • Knowledge of server, desktop, application, and virtualization concepts.

  • Understanding of core communication system components, including end-user devices, switches, routers, cabling, and wireless access points.

  • Very good knowledge of Windows 10/11.

  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) systems.

  • Familiarity with enterprise imaging and update tools.

  • Understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts.

  • Familiarity with ITIL practices.

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred) in IT, electronics, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a strong customer-service mindset.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.

Language Requirements

  • English – B2 level.
