Job Description:
At Castrol, we're looking for a Technical Services Specialist - HD & Automotive to help customers improve equipment reliability, performance, and operational efficiency across South Africa's heavy-duty and industrial sectors.
What You'll Do
Deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and lubrication expertise to customers and distributors.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and condition monitoring assessments.
Lead field trials, value improvement projects, and technical service initiatives.
Support growth across Agriculture, Construction, Transport, OEM, and FWS sectors.
Train and coach customers, distributors, and internal teams on lubrication best practices.
Manage technical complaints and provide practical, customer-focused solutions.
About You
You are a customer-focused technical professional who enjoys solving complex equipment and maintenance challenges. You build strong relationships, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, and combine technical expertise with commercial awareness.
Skills & Experience
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in industrial maintenance, lubrication, reliability engineering, or condition monitoring.
Strong knowledge of heavy-duty equipment and industrial lubrication applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience delivering technical training and supporting customers in operational environments.
Commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical and business priorities.
