POSITION SUMMARY:  

This is a winter seasonal position that is 40 hours weekly. The schedule will be either 5–8-hour days or 4–10-hour days or both based on scheduling needs. Comes with a locker, personal storage drawer, and ski/ride breaks when possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Uniforms: Knowing all aspects of Uniforms; what is issued to resort work groups, grouping, and organizing uniforms, end-of-season uniform laundry, counting uniform inventory, loss prevention, prepping uniform donations, mending, and making sure all hanging inventory is suitable for issuing. Ensures security of the Uniform Services Department and protects its assets. Keeping the Uniform area clean and tidy; includes but is not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.

Uniform Data: The position is required to input correct detailed data into our computer system, checking for accuracy, based on issuing 1000 plus employees in the winter season and 700 plus employees in the summer season. Retail and Inventory: Responsible for knowing the point of sales system used, proper money handling, ordering, receiving, and shipping, organizing and maintaining merchandise, tracking retail inventory, and loss prevention.

Laundry and Supplies: Tracking laundry loads, washing, drying, and properly folding laundry for various departments. Knowledge of our washers and dryer. Ensures all safety aspects are being followed. Notifying manager, supervisor, or lead of any supplies that are getting low. Keeping the laundry area clean and tidy; includes but is not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning lint and washer filters, and wiping down surfaces. Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities for the Uniform Attendant position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  This position does have physical demands, one must be able to lift 40 pounds, climb stair ladders to hang uniforms, lift and unpack large quantities of boxes, standing. 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSING:  High school graduate or above, guest service and retail experience helpful.

WAGE:

The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of Winter Park Resorts' hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Winter Park Resorts' total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

hourly pay range: $19.00- $20.00 per hour

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Pleasant atmosphere in a warehouse that stores uniforms and has laundry facilities. The warehouse is well light with no windows.
