Job Description

Job Title: Brand & Communications Specialist

Location: Hyderabad, India

Advance Auto Parts India is seeking a strategic and hands-on Brand & Communications specialist to drive employer branding and corporate communications for its India Centre. This role will play a critical part in positioning Advance India as a differentiated GCC by building a compelling employer value proposition (EVP), amplifying leadership and culture narratives, and delivering high-impact, insight-led communication across internal and external channels.

The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, storytelling excellence, and execution rigor, with a strong focus on measurable outcomes and brand impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Communications & Employer Branding
  • Contribute to the development and execution of employer branding initiatives aligned with business and talent priorities
  • Help shape and strengthen the Employer Value Proposition (EVP)
  • Drive storytelling initiatives that position Advance India as a growing and people-centric GCC
  • Execute integrated campaigns across digital, social, campus, and media channels
  • Drive thought leadership, PR, and media visibility initiatives to enhance brand perception
  • Build leadership, employee, and culture-focused content across platforms

Internal Communications

  • Own and execute the internal communications strategy framework across channels
  • Partner on executive and leadership communication including key messaging, town halls, and organizational updates
  • Drive change communication initiatives aligned with business transformation and growth
  • Strengthen culture and engagement through impactful storytelling
  • Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all internal channels

Social Media & Digital Strategy

  • Execute a LinkedIn-first, multi-channel content and social media strategy
  • Create and manage engaging content including employee stories, leadership narratives, videos, and campaign assets
  • Drive employee advocacy and leadership visibility
  • Monitor trends, audience insights, and competitor activity
  • Track, analyze, and optimize performance using data-driven insights

Executive Storytelling & Content

  • Develop executive-ready presentations, narratives, and communication assets
  • Translate complex business priorities into clear, compelling, and impactful stories
  • Support leadership forums, reviews, external engagements, and industry platforms

Agency & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage creative, digital, and PR agencies end-to-end
  • Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, and global teams to align messaging
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communication touchpoints
  • Collaborate with global communications teams to align with enterprise brand frameworks

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, employer branding, PR, and digital marketing
  • Proven expertise in building employer brands and executing integrated campaigns end-to-end
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills with strong attention to voice and consistency
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with experience in executive-level storytelling
  • Strong experience managing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and optimize communication impact
  • Experience leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, and similar platforms)
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and execution excellence
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with expanding scope
