Department Overview

Video Solutions teams in R&D center in Krakow have been growing dynamically since 2019. Currently, we have more than 180 specialists on board working on solutions for cameras, video analytics, video management systems as well as access control.

We bring advanced video and analytics capabilities to public safety and commercial customers including healthcare, airports, retail, critical infrastructure and public venues. Video is no longer reactive – looking back at what has taken place – but it also informs proactively, issuing alerts in real-time when a person, object or vehicle appears or a perimeter is crossed. This critical intelligence empowers users to take prompt and appropriate action.

Job Description

We need a highly skilled, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Automation Lead passionate about deploying commercial deep learning/computer vision systems. This lead will drive timely releases of our edge analytics security surveillance solutions (cameras, appliances, cloud services), collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality IoT software meeting customer expectations.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of automated testing pipelines for IoT devices.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies for edge-based video surveillance systems (cameras, appliances, cloud services), including OTA firmware releases.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, timelines, and testing approaches (using real and synthetic data).

  • Analyze test results, identify improvement areas, and maintain quality metrics and reporting.

  • Stay current with industry best practices and improve cross-team issue resolution processes.

  • Conduct field testing as needed.


Basic Requirements

Required Skills

  • Experience developing APIs for test automation and integrating with AI tools/databases.

  • Experience with AI/ML/computer vision technologies and large-scale database systems.

  • Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

  • Expertise in IP camera/video management system networking and protocols (DHCP, TCP/IP, PoE, SSH, RTP/RTSP, WebRTC, SSL, UART/Serial).

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills; experience working with diverse teams.

  • Experience with synthetic video generation tools (Blender, Unreal Engine, Generative AI) a plus.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • 4+ years' experience developing automation software (Python, JavaScript) for testing embedded hardware/IoT/robotics.

  • 4+ years' experience as an Automation Test Engineer with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD integration.

  • 4+ years' QA leadership experience, preferably with firmware releases for video management systems or similar devices.

  • Excellent teamwork, troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skills; highly adaptable and proactive.
