Job Description:
You as an associate project manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Sharkia, Egypt. You will be leading the execution of medium projects with intermediate complexity and ensuring that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets and scheduling targets.
Your responsibilities:
- Defining, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
- Ensuring that the project follows execution best practices and company policies.
- Effectively monitoring and control project progress and efficient resource utilization.
- Monitoring and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow.
- Identifying, qualifying, quantifying and manage risk, and ensure that all opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Capturing, analyzing and sharing lessons learned throughout the project.
- Ensure that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed.
- Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
- Ensuring that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with company policies and contractual agreements.
- Coordinating with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
- Supporting Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims and project changes.
- Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
- Ensuring the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Your background
- A Bachelor's/master’s degree in an engineering field.
- Minimum experience of 3-5 years of experience in large multi-faceted electrical projects or order management in similar industries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written French is extra.
- Certification PMI/PMP is a plus.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
