Your new role as Administration Officer – Medical Services will see you provide high level administration support within the Aviation Health Programs team. This support includes but is not limited to providing Medical Services support to the front-line, answering incoming phone calls to Qantas Medical Services, receive and triage messages, respond appropriately, monitor, manage, file and distribute emails and other documents from multiple shared inboxes, coordinating of appointments for Pilot CASA license renewals, audio, vision, vaccination and other medical appointments as required. You will also be responsible for coordinating medical correspondence for the Medical Services Team. The queries which come through may be sensitive in nature and therefore we are looking for applicants with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and maturity to work though the tasks associated with the role. 

You’ll have – 

  • Intermediate computer literacy skills in MS Office Applications 

  • Able to prioritise and meet strict time constraints 

  • Strong organisational skills           

  • Competent, self-starter, able to use their initiative while working under time constraints, both independently and as part of a team 

  • Excellent telephone skills and highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management/staff 

  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills 

  • Able to respect the confidentiality of sensitive information
