Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three (3) years of professional experience in information technology.
Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of business analysis principles and system support practices.Skill in problem-solving and troubleshooting.Skill in working with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, or integrations.
Skill in organization and documentation.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a collaborative environment.
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to analyze data, processes, and system functionality.
Preferences:
Master's Degree in Analytics, Information Systems and/or Computer Science or relevant work experience with strong preference for experience working with University of Maryland data. Data visualization software experience; specifically, PowerBI. Experience in dashboard development including: aesthetic design, dashboard storyboarding and intuitiveness of data delivered/displayed.
