Reporting to the Lifecycle Solutions Leader BMS (Building Management Systems) Controls EMEALA, you will manage the regional BMS & Controls portfolio, coordinate the development and launch of new products and services in alignment with regional businesses needs and requirements, and support key growth and competitiveness initiatives in your domain.  

 
What you will do 

• Lead the BMS & Controls portfolio management and lifecycle solutions development across EMEALA, with an aim at growing the domain Return on Sales

• Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the BMS/ Controls and room automation product portfolio to increase market-fit and drive awareness within sales and technical teams 

• Performance Analytics: Implement advanced analytics to monitor product performance, providing data-driven insights for strategic decisions and establish a formal process for regular brainstorming sessions to generate new product ideas based on market insights

• Solution Identification: Support in identifying suitable solutions for management, automation and field level to meet project specifications

• Technical Support: Provide comprehensive support to teams, such as FAQs and troubleshooting guides

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local teams in EMEALA, partners, R&D and marketing

• Knowledge Sharing: Deliver knowledge to all teams for sharing best practices, solutions, and product information through regular workshops and trainings. 

What we look for 

• Experience in managing a BMS & Controls portfolio or designing and engineering Controls system 

• Ability to credibly engage with key stakeholders from the region, including sales and technical as well as further internal teams 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Building Management Systems, Automation Systems, or a related field 

• Several years’ experience in BMS/ Controls and familiarity with software programming, field devices and integration protocols, as well as designing system architectures 

• Solid understanding of relevant engineering standards, protocols and regulatory environment in the European markets 

• Fluency in business English; German would be a plus 

• Some Travel will be required (10 to 20%)
