Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of small projects with low complexity. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining and applying basic project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively.

This role is contributing to the {Process automation} in {UAE}.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leads the project team allocated to the project.
• Ensures compliance with standard ABB directives, procedures, standards and contractual requirements.
• Ensures that the project follows execution’s best practices and ABB policies.
• Monitors and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.
• Drives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
• Coordinates and leads Supply Chain activities and successfully procures required services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers.
• Supports Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims, and project changes.
• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Establishes a schedule baseline to manage the project schedule and monitor and document progress for all engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, site work, and other activities continuously.
• Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 0-3 years’ experience in project management
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• English language is must
