Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Financial Accounting Manager - Payroll/Accounts Payable within the Finance division, located at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position is responsible for managing the Payroll and Accounts Payable Departments. Responsibilities include supervision of employees, processing of payroll, processing of Accounts Payable and reconciling all related accounts. Additionally, this position works closely with Human Resources and Procurement.

Estimated Pay Range:

$74,085 - $97,000

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields from an accredited college or university plus five years accounting experience, including working with computerized accounting systems and one year of supervisory experience. Graduate level Accounting, Finance or Business Administration degree or CPA may be substituted for three years of experience. Previous experience in payroll/accounts payable or related experience is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
