Risk Management Support

  • Support the development and maintenance of project and programme processes in line with agreed frameworks and systems.

  • Support structured risk identification and review workshops across development, design and construction phases.

  • Monitor risk actions, mitigations, and status updates, escalating issues where risks are not being actively managed.

Risk Workshops & Reviews

  • Support the preparation and facilitation of risk identification and review workshops across development, design, and construction phases.

  • Assist with workshop materials, note‑taking, risk consolidation, and post‑workshop outputs.

  • Analysis & Reporting

  • Support qualitative risk analysis, trend analysis, and basic risk prioritisation.

  • Assist in the preparation of clear, concise risk summaries, dashboards, and reports for project and portfolio reviews.

  • Support data quality checks to ensure risk information is accurate, complete, and decision‑ready.

Quantitative Risk Analysis (Developmental Exposure)

  • Provide support to senior team members in preparing inputs for Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA).

  • Assist with data gathering, assumption logging, and interpretation of outputs under supervision.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers, Planners, and Engineers to gather and validate risk information.

  • Build confidence engaging with multi‑disciplinary teams in a professional project environment.

Continuous Improvement & Learning

  • Capture and analyse lessons learned from risk outcomes and mitigation effectiveness.

  • Support the development and maintenance of templates, preventative controls, and standard ways of working.

  • Contribute to improving risk management guidance, tools, and training materials across the portfolio.

In this role you will:  

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining the baseline and monthly schedules, cost reports, portfolio reports, and customer reports (when applicable) for custom projects   

  • During Execution, produce weekly / monthly reports in line with the project reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast, and explanation of variances   

  • Motivated to support an industry-leading regional project planning team capable of managing internal/external customer projects including EPCs, within both the office and construction site environments   

  • Use planning IT systems and work processes to provide reliable and consistent reporting and analysis to ensure that we can meet the project, regional/global project portfolio, and business requirements   

  • Collaborate with the Product Line and Project Execution teams to develop and deliver competitive project schedules aligned to the execution scope and strategy during the bid phase through award and execution, promoting the growth of the client’s businesses while consistently delivering on project commitments in terms of cost and schedule   

  • Develop and maintain accurate progress & earned value measurement systems for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning to provide credible control throughout the project execution phase   

  • Help maintain and improve the capabilities of the regional team to support the business needs across the broad portfolio of offerings   

  • Provide close collaboration with and support across the other regional and global teams to ensure effective resource sharing, lessons learned, best practices, and the development of appropriate work processes and procedures across the global execution teams   

  • Lead a project controls team when assigned to a mega project   

  • Follows client’s established standard processes, procedures, and formats required for corporate reporting and deliverables   

  • Perform additional duties as assigned  

About you 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent  

  • Minimum -10 years’ project planning experience, ideally with 2 years in Nuclear Decommissioning  

  • A recognised Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering  

  • Sound knowledge, proven skills, and competencies in the application of project planning principles, methodologies, and tools   

  • Support all phases of project execution, particularly around schedule development, progress measurement/reporting, and earned value, within a large project-oriented EPC or Owner Organization   

  • Must have a track record of delivering accurate schedule information, reporting, and guidance to senior management   

  • Organised and detail-oriented
