SUMMARY OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the storage and movements of raw materials and finished goods, including inventory management, storage optimization, distribution planning, and warehouse staff supervision. This position will develop and implement warehouse management strategy to maximize efficiency and meet operational targets (e.g., delivery goals). This is a hands-on supervisory role which incorporates analysis, warehouse management, people leadership, and continuous improvement.
REPORTING TO: Director, Supply Chain and Compliance
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Warehouse Management:
- Manage warehouse activities on-site and coordinates off-site warehousing requirements.
- Ensure training of warehouse personnel to ensure safe, effective, and efficient shipping and receiving operations.
- Work with the team to design and implement an optimal warehouse and material flow plan including efficient use of the latest inventory control technologies.
- Develop, monitor, and evaluate performance standards for effectiveness and efficiency including optimal space utilization, picking productivity, scheduling, and coordination of trucking goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Establish and manage relationships with off-site storage providers (as required).
- Direct the scheduling of shipments and notifies concerned department or customer of arrival dates.
- Oversee cycle count processes for the warehouse to ensure accurate inventory.
- Effectively manage the budget for all warehouse expenses.
- Strictly adhere to US and International Trade Compliance laws and regulations.
- Responsible for warehouse forklift equipment, providing both preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs in coordination with the Maintenance Department.
- Recommend equipment requirements and replacements to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity.
- Coordinate warehouse activities with those of other functional areas.
- Initiate investigations into causes of damages, shortages, or defects in shipments.
- Manage Warehouse staff including inbound freight, warehousing, order fulfillment, tagging & packaging, distribution, and outbound freight to customers.
- Coordinate and assign schedules of staff to provide appropriate coverage in assigned areas.
- Responsible for the staff performance management including disciplinary actions as needed; ensure a productive team environment in the warehouse operation.
- Ensures that the warehouse & planning personnel have safe, efficient equipment to perform their functions.
- Ensure security of building and goods at all times.
- Champion of continuous process improvement initiatives in warehouse operations and develop cost-saving CI initiatives.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 4-year degree in business, supply chain management, logistics or industrial engineering or 3-5 years of experience in warehousing and distribution, to include 2 years supervisory experience.

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $76,200.00 - $114,200.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
