The In-Plant Warehouse Associate II plays a critical role in the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations within our facility. This position involves performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in a warehouse setting, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Fully In Office: Monday-Friday
What You'll Be Doing:
Receiving and Inspecting: Unload and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of orders and checking for damage. Report discrepancies and damages to the supervisor.
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of warehouse management software. Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Storage and Organization: Ensure that all materials and products are stored in designated locations and are easily accessible. Optimize storage space and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment or delivery according to customer specifications and company standards. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in order processing.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, shipments, and other warehouse activities. Generate reports as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Provide training and guidance to new team members as needed.
What We Are Looking For:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role.
Proficiency in using warehouse management software and basic computer skills.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects 50 lbs.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
