Job Description Summary:

New Albany Medical Campus - M-F 7:30a-3p with the possibility weekend coverage needs should the facility needs change.

• Candidate must be flexible in all areas as the facility needs may change based on overall patient volumes and operational needs that may change after opening.
• Initially, staffing schedule will be Monday-Friday but ARE subject to change and weekends may be added based on the operational needs of the facility.
• Holidays may be required for the upcoming year, to support other locations. (ie, the Freestanding Emergency Department and Westerville Medical Campus) – 2 holidays per year is the expectation.
• Candidate must have reliable transportation and they must understand, to support PAS appropriately, there is potential to travel to other locations, Westerville or FSED, to support operational needs.
• Candidate must be very skilled technically and have the intuitive knowledge to operate modern devices effectively and with ease.
• Candidate must be energetic and have a positive attitude at all times.
• Candidate must be Customer Service oriented with the ability to multi-task and perform tasks that may be outside of the routine operational flow to support our customers
• Candidate MUST have the ability to be on their feet for the entirety of their scheduled shift.
• Communication skills must be stellar. Candidate must have the ability to dialogue with a diverse population while intelligently and respectfully, being able to converse with internal departments, their peers and their leadership teams.


This position begins the Revenue Cycle process by collecting accurate demographic and financial information to produce a clean claim necessary to receive timely reimbursement.  In addition, this position provides exceptional customer service during encounters with patients, families, visitors and Ohio Health Physicians and associates.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)

Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills, basic computer skills. One to two years previous Experience in a medical office setting.
