Key responsibilities for this role include: 

  • Conduct demand forecasting analysis, collaborating with the supply chain team to optimize inventory management, production planning, and develop statistical modeling techniques to guide forecast decisions
  • Provide market intelligence by researching, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the pharmaceutical market, key development trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences
  • Support the development and maintenance of ETL processes, ensuring accurate and timely data integration from various sources Ability to challenge contractively, while demonstrating strong understanding of the market, customers and products.
  • Manage master data by defining and implementing data governance policies and procedures, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather business needs and requirements, translating them into functional specifications for custom solutions
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to deliver actionable insights and enable informed decision-making
  • Collaborate with European / Global analytics teams to leverage available data within the organization
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to business analysis, data analytics, and visualization

 

The minimum qualifications for this role are:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Experience in demand forecasting, supply chain management, and market research
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large sets of data, and present findings in a clear and concise manner and strong knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with data management and analysis tools such as Excel Power Query, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), MS Access, any other statistical software, and BI tools
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools to develop reports and dashboards and experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Working proficiency in English language, Dutch language is a plus.
