Position Summary:
The Sr. Solution Lead role requires an analytical problem solver who seeks to identify underlying root causes for business challenges and carefully considers implications of proposed solutions to align on the optimal approach. In this role, you will be responsible for leading solution delivery activities from design to delivery and transition to operations for Stryker’s Commercial platforms including Callidus (SAP-C) and Model N that support process areas including sales performance management and revenue and rebate management. These responsibilities will be fulfilled across approved projects and enhancement release cycles and in accordance with Stryker’s delivery processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)
- Perform activities following Stryker’s Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes.
- Functional and technical design, configuration and development, testing and delivery of solutions for release cycles and/or new projects to support Stryker’s business objectives.
- Review and manage business process documents, application and technical specifications, test plans, and cutover plans for go-live sites.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, IT business partners and other IT functions, and Stryker’s external partners to devise best-in-class solutions and implementation plans.
- Support run/sustain teams to solve new business needs and govern solutions to be consistent with platform and process strategic direction and approved template.
- Identify opportunities to improve the system’s process flow, performance, and technical efficiencies.
- Recommend and provide holistic, optimized solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes.
- Develop system and technical documentation, knowledge articles, and instructions supporting efficient delivery process execution.
- Partner with Business Analysts to understand system requirements and translate them into solutions within an application and/or application stack.
- Lead and mentor Solution Analysts and IT vendor resources within the team and provide oversight and guidance.
- Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities, and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables.
- Special projects/assignments/assessment as required.
Education & Special Trainings:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of Model N and Callidus (SAP-C) professional experience with full life-cycle implementations, operation support and demonstrated project implementation experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of Model N and Callidus (SAP-C) project implementation experience in revenue and rebate management and sales performance management processes.
- In-depth understanding of the Model N and Callidus (SAP-C) application architecture & technology.
- Strong integration experience with Model N and Callidus (SAP-C).
- Experience in leading teams of vendor resources for projects, minimum 3 years.
- Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts – strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning.
- Knowledge of and ability to drive IT methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred.
