CDK Global is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Market Research Analyst to join our team!
 
The successful candidate will support the execution of end-to-end Market Research projects, including survey design, administration, data cleaning, analysis, and reporting of both quantitative and qualitative data. These projects will span a variety of research types, such as customer satisfaction and loyalty (NPS), market segmentation, brand awareness and reach, and product research. The role also involves gathering and analyzing secondary research on automotive retail market conditions and industry best practices. The Market Research Analyst must excel at storytelling, as this position requires translating data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Experience. Additionally, the analyst will play a key role in leveraging primary and secondary research to deliver thought leadership studies that position CDK as an industry leader in automotive retail.

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define research objectives and select appropriate methodologies.
• Design and program surveys using Qualtrics; monitor completion and ensure data quality.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using statistical tools (Q Research, DisplayR, or similar) and interpret findings to uncover actionable insights.
• Develop compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations that tell a clear story and drive strategic decisions.
• Present research findings to cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product, Sales, and Customer Experience.
• Conduct secondary research on automotive retail market trends, consumer behavior, and industry best practices.
• Support the creation of thought leadership and content marketing pieces based on research insights.
• Partner with other departments to automate Customer Experience surveys and improve data workflows.

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

Must have skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Market Research with strong analytical and storytelling skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Statistics, Psychology, Market Research or related field.
• Proficiency in Qualtrics (Core XM Tool, XM Directory, and CX Dashboards).
• Experience in at least one statistical analysis software (Q Research, DisplayR, or similar).
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Good to have skills

• Familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI).
• Experience with dashboard design.
• Knowledge of advanced research methodologies (Conjoint, MaxDiff, Van Westendorp, Kano).
• Exposure to automation of Customer Experience surveys.
