Collaborating with cross-functional global and regional teams, you implement brand strategy that is aligned with our brand vision to drive sustainable growth and to deliver business objectives. You also support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives, including new product development and platform opportunities
How you will contribute
You will work with others to execute the brand strategy for designated brands, develop product and packaging initiatives, implement pricing strategies, and plan and execute integrated marketing communication and media plans. You will also provide recommendations for integrated commercial plans and provide input and support in the development and execution of marketing plans to ensure they meet revenue, profit targets, sharing objectives and monitoring performance. Based on your strong understanding of consumer insights, brand strategy and positioning, you ill help develop integrated marketing communications and 360 degree campaigns.

What you need to know about this position:
The Chocolate Innovation Specialist is a pivotal role within our regional marketing team, responsible for driving end-to-end innovation and portfolio optimization for our iconic chocolate brands. You will play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, developing winning innovation strategies, and leading cross-functional teams to bring new products to market. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our chocolate portfolio and contribute to the continued success of our brands in a dynamic and expanding market.
Key Accountabilities:
- Innovation Strategy & Pipeline Leadership:
- Own the Innovation growth pillar, driving an end-to-end approach to innovation.
- Identify and shape new growth opportunities through disruptive and incremental product innovation, focusing on fewer but bigger initiatives with a Brand-to-Consumer (BTC) mindset.
- Develop and maintain a robust innovation pipeline aligned with category development plans for Cadbury, Milka, and Toblerone.
- End-to-End Innovation Delivery:
- Lead the entire innovation process from opportunity identification and consumer insights to product development and launch, collaborating closely with R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Ensure successful project performance for up to 6 months post-launch.
- Portfolio Management & Optimization:
- Manage the existing product portfolio, identifying opportunities for optimization and rationalization based on sales data and market trends.
- Analyze SKU performance to drive portfolio efficiency and profitability.
- Pricing Strategy & P&L Management:
- Lead pricing strategy development in close collaboration with finance, ensuring alignment with P&L goals and profitability targets.
- Trend Scouting & Foresight:
- Constantly scan global markets, emerging technologies, and shifting consumer behaviors to inform future innovation strategy.
- Business Case Development:
- Build robust, data-driven business cases to prioritize innovation investments based on impact and feasibility.
- Future Portfolio Design:
- Balance short-term wins with long-term bets to future-proof the brand and category growth.
- Concept Testing & Rapid Prototyping:
- Use gile tools and consumer validation to reduce risk and accelerate speed-to-market.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders, including PCM (Product Change Management) Coordinators & Managers, Trade Marketing Managers, Sales Managers, and Finance Managers.
- Participate in regional forums and present to directors, providing high visibility and exposure.

Candidate Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in marketing roles (or similar), with a focus on innovation, product development, and launch.
- Experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is essential.
- Prior experience working in a regional role or with cross-country teams is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strategic vision and focus, with the ability to define and prioritize innovation projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a curious and creative mindset.
- Proficiency in P&L management and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with Nielsen data and tools.
- Fluency in English is required.
