Job Description:

The candidate should have proven expertise in ensuring compliance with SOX controls while supporting SAP/non-SAP support and maintenance programs. Also, he/she should have supported external SOX audits as SOX assurance representative.

Some specific duties for a compliance analyst may include ensuring that all policies and procedures are implemented and well documented, performing occasional internal reviews, and identifying compliance problems that call for formal attention. Also, develop risk management strategies to avoid non-compliance and file compliance reports with regulatory bodies.

Experience: 2 to 5yrs

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a Compliance Analyst will be responsible to ensure compliance with SOX principles & practices in the portfolio. Also, should have knowledge for the basic ITGC controls.
  • Responsible for completing all tasks assigned by team lead and manager.
  • Responsible for interacting and guiding support team on SOX principles & practices
  • Responsible to ensure all deliverables by the support team are as per process documents and any non-compliance is identified and reported within the required timeframe
  • Test, execute, implement and remediate ITGC controls in applications under Compliance umbrella

Required Skills and experience

  • In-depth knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)
  • Intermedium troubleshooting and knowledge in GRC and SAP Security
  • Awareness of Segregation of Duties (SOD)
  • Perform monthly issue follow up and review remediation efforts related to Audit findings.

  • Excellent communication and time management skills

  • Detailed knowledge of MS Office

  • Reviewing, Monitoring internal controls for SOX compliance

  • Review critical and sensitive authorizations, implement improvements to meet audit requirements

  • Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management. 

  • Ability to work in large and diverse teams

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving
