Responsibilities:

  • Embrace, build, and extend the AI-driven marketing vision including implementing the GenAI-enabled Content Hub
  • Drive mobilization of the APAC Gen-AI enabled content, with immediate focus on Japan, through discovery, alignment and focused planning including:
  • Surfacing local realities, critical business, customer, or operational realities that could impact model design or serve as challenges/blockers
  • Providing input into sequencing or activation implications
  • Drive activation and evolution of the APAC GenAI-enabled content, with immediate focus on Japan, including:
    • Understanding local nuances and business priorities
    • Selecting from the hub’s services and making key decisions on the market engagement model
    • Driving tailored activation plans including timing, sequencing, training, and support
    • Implementing feedback loops to optimize as we scale across brands (and potentially APAC markets)
    • Challenging teams on current content standards
    • Ongoing oversight of the market’s book of work to maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and impact
       
  • Lead Japan and APAC production model, maximizing impact and efficiency while ensuring consistent and timely delivery  
       ●  Work with our Brand Teams, IT, Compliance, and Worldwide
       Commercialization Excellence,  to understand production needs and
       evolve and optimize production model and processes 
      ● Direct and manage production of digital channels and materials,
       including direct oversight of 3rd party production agencies


Requirements:

  • BA/BS required with advanced degree in business is preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in Japanese pharmaceutical content strategy, marketing, or commercial field with a minimum of 4 years in digital content platforms and technologies
  • Operational expertise in a Content Hub or similar model
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience establishing strong relationships and working closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable content strategies and services
  • Proven leadership in the development and execution of strategy to support local and regional commercialization goals
  • Experience collaborating with local, regional and global teams to drive innovation including mobilization, activation, and evolution
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects/initiatives with complex rollout plans while remaining agile in adjusting tactics to address the unique needs of varying brands/markets
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement metrics to gauge content success and drive continuous improvement
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese is required
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to engage with global teams and stakeholders in support of Gen-AI content hub mobilization, activation, and evolution

BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
