Group Corporate Finance Senior Exec is responsible for managing and executing AirAsia’s group fund raising exercise:

• Long-Term Funding, comprising all project financing , capital raising exercise (capital market) and bond issuance

• Prepare request for proposal (RFP), review letter of intent from the financiers with close coordination with Legal Department

• Ensure timely debt servicing and compliance of covenants under various financing agreements external debt, bonds, etc. 

• Assist the HOD on Corporate Finance transactions including equity exercise and capital calls (IPOs, rights issues & private placement), mergers & acquisitions, divestment of assets and capital & business restructuring

• Analyze proposals, engage and liaise with investment advisers, legal advisers and tax consultants, prepare reports and make recommendations to the Board of Directors and Investment Committee members 

• Facilitate the implementation for corporate exercises involving AirAsia’s group with coordination with other Departments.

• Ensure in complying with regulatory (i.e. Bursa Malaysia, Securities Commission, Bank Negara, etc.) matters affecting the business and transactions contemplated​

Group Strategy and Management

• Prepare financing cash flow projections/analysis evaluating funding proposals.

• Analyse financials and collate market information with specific focus on population, GDP, tourism, infrastructure, banking etc.  

Others

• Analyze potential businesses or projects based on the risk and its expected returns.

• Review financial rating modelling analysis in line with Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and RAM methodology on airlines rating.
