We are seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to meet our business needs. This role involves working closely with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom Salesforce applications, features, and enhancements using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.

  • Implement custom objects, workflows, triggers, and validation rules to meet specific business requirements.

  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.

  • Configure Salesforce to optimize its functionality, including user roles, profiles, security settings, and sharing rules.

  • Customize and manage Salesforce dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators to configure custom fields, page layouts, and record types.

  • Implement and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Copado.

  • Automate deployment processes within Salesforce using Copado, ensuring seamless integration and reduced downtime.

  • Manage version control and release management, including branching strategies and environment management with Copado.

  • Work closely with business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Provide technical guidance and support during the project’s implementation phases.

  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and functionality of the Salesforce solutions.

  • Debug and troubleshoot issues within the Salesforce environment and provide timely resolutions.

  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business expectations before deployment.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, custom code, and integration processes.

  • Stay updated with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to ongoing development.

Basic Requirements of the Salesforce Developer:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Salesforce Platform Developers I/II certifications required 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.

  • Hands-on experience with Copado for CI/CD processes, deployment automation, and version control within Salesforce.

  • Proven track record in managing complex Salesforce deployments and release processes using Copado.

  • Experience with Salesforce integration using REST/SOAP APIs and working with data migration tools.

  • Proficient in Salesforce configuration and customization, including workflows, process builder, and validation rules.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, and data management best practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Strong familiarity with agile software development practices and tools

  • Solution-oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines

Preferred Skills & Experience of the Salesforce Developer::

  • Salesforce certification such as Salesforce Certified App Builder

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello

  • Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks, such as JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or SQL.

  • Knowledge using code editor such as VSCODE

  • Familiarity with JSON formats and data exchange mechanisms

  • Experience with Version Controls like GitHub or GitLab

  • Good organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds

  • Team player who is also able to operate independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively while delivering high-quality work

  • Interested in teaching fellow Amplifiers

  • Experience in education or ed-tech industry

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
