Leidos is looking to hire a Senior Control Account Manager (CAM) to manage one or more technical control accounts on the Common Hypersonic Glide Body (CHGB) program. CHGB is a $1 billion contract with the U.S Army and is tasked with delivery of glide body assemblies to the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and the Missile Defense Agency. The role will report to the EVMS Manager.

The CAM will work on-site at the at the Leidos Hypersonics Integration facility out of the Mid-City office in Huntsville. Each CAM will serve in a business operations role and be responsible for partnering/interfacing with technical leaders on the program to provide monthly EVM inputs to support the CHGB business rhythm. The control account manager is responsible for delivering the technical scope on the program within the cost and schedule constraints agreed to by the Leidos PM and the CAM.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for directing technical/functional resources to perform work
  • Communicate with and review staffing needs with all functional managers across each control account
  • Responsible for entering all monthly inputs in the Leidos EVM tool (LENS). Includes changes related to integrated master schedule (IMS) status, baseline change requests (BCRs), estimate to complete (ETC) and variance analysis reporting (VAR), writing schedule/cost recovery plans
  • Review and analyze EVM data at the work package (WP) and control account (CA) level
  • Provide inputs to the scheduler three-point durations to support schedule risk analysis
  • Review labor reports on a weekly basis and compare to the baseline and forecast
  • Participate in the proposal process by providing schedule, cost and resource inputs
  • Lead discussions in definition of scope for the respective CAs and decomposition of discrete, deliverable-oriented, tasking
  • Provide inputs to the risk review board
  • Review, approve, and disseminate work authorizations through the programs lifecycle and baseline control process
  • Work to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approaches
  • Work to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on the area of responsibility

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience in project management, CAM, and Earned Value Management (EVM). Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior success with managing multiple priorities and meeting strict business calendar due dates to maintain EVMS deliverables
  • Experience with providing integrated master schedule (IMS) development and critical path management (CPM)
  • Experience with development of Estimate to Complete (ETC) and Estimate at Complete (EAC)
  • Experience with baseline change control processes
  • Experience with monthly schedule status processes
  • Experience with presenting IBR materials and answering CAM interview questions
  • US Citizenship Required - All candidates must be able to obtain and maintain at least a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Earned Value Profession (EVP) certification
  • Has prior experience with managing manufacturing scope
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of using tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint

Pay Range:

Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00
