About the Role

Responsible for developing information technology architecture solutions in integrated process, applications, data and technology to meet AIA's business needs

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Design/Implement system based on UR(30%)

  • Analyze and translate the user’s business requirements into IT designs & technology solutions, and support requirements assessment, solution and process planning, Agile implementation, enterprise blueprint / architecture, prototyping, and impact analysis.

  • POC and introduce new edge of technology into the organization.

  • Take ownership of the technical solution and see it through to its successful implementation.

2. Trouble Shooting (20%)

  • Hands on incident management and follows up of application systems issues.

  • Ensure the incident is response and resolved within the SLA.

3. Architecture Design, review and Delivery (50%)

  • Ensure solution options based on business demand, provide comparison and recommendations on the technical integrity of the solutions, cost effectiveness and supportability that meets user requirements and industry best practices.

  • Follow AIA’s SDLC to manage and review detailed technical design documents to match the solution design specifications, governance standard and development process.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering related disciplines

  • Be familiar with insurance systems and at least 7+ years development experience in insurance function areas.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in architecture design.

  • Manage multi tasks in parallel efficiently

  • Self-motivated and willing to work with others or work independently under a high pressure

  • Be able to work flexibly to take conference call or work for support in non-working hours

  • Good verbal, written and presentation communication skills of both mandarin and English
