FS Investments is looking for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our team to craft elegant and intuitive customer-focused experiences to meet business and customer goals. The UX/UI Designer will collaborate with Design leadership, members of the Marketing team, key business stakeholders, and an in-house team of developers, and will be involved with projects through the planning, design, and development lifecycle. 

The ideal candidate has strong design skills, demonstrates an understanding of user-centered design principals, and brings curiosity, empathy, and an open mind to everything they do. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires problem-solving skills and an aptitude for team collaboration and communication.

Requirements: 

• Work with various business partners and Design leadership to translate concepts into sketches, wireframes and interactive prototypes. 
• Create new experiences and make updates to WordPress and Webflow website(s). 
• Participate in design thinking workshops, stakeholder and client interviews. 
• Present design concepts, user needs and design rationale to business stakeholders to ensure designs meet business strategies and customer needs. 
• Participate in research and testing throughout the design process to gather feedback, identify opportunities and validate designs. 
• Incorporate feedback to iterate on design solutions. 
• Hand off production files, documentation, and specs for developers. 
• Work closely with development team to ensure that design specifications are implemented. 
• Assist in defining and maintaining UX design patterns and standards. 
• Monitor and have knowledge of wider industry UX trends and relevant technology trends. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience or related field .
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma, InVision, Miro, or related design and prototyping tools.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, SASS) and software development principles.
• Experience with WordPress, Webflow or other content management systems.
• Proficiency in visual design, typography and composition.
• Familiarity with designing for accessibility.
• Understanding of responsive web design.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player.
• Exceptional organizational skills with ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
• Portfolio of work demonstrating strong analytical skills and great interaction design.
• Self-motivated and action-oriented mindset with high sense of personal accountability.
• Able to work independently but also collaboratively and be driven by group critique.
