The Role

As an AI Data Engineer at Kyndryl, you will lead the charge in applying Agentic AI to solve real-world business challenges and deliver measurable customer outcomes. This role blends deep technical expertise with creativity and client-centric innovation. You’ll design and implement AI-driven solutions, build compelling use cases, and deliver demos, proofs of concept (POCs), and production-ready projects that transform enterprises.

What You’ll Do

• Lead with Agentic AI: Drive adoption of autonomous, self-improving AI systems across customer engagements.
• Customer Outcomes First: Translate complex business problems into AI-driven solutions that deliver tangible value.
• Build Use Cases & POCs: Rapidly prototype and validate ideas through demos and proofs of concept, showcasing innovation in action.
• Deliver AI Projects: Own end-to-end delivery of strategic AI initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and measurable impact.
• Data Engineering Excellence: Collect, prepare, and manage data pipelines for advanced AI models, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Model Development & Deployment: Design, train, and deploy intelligent agents and predictive models using Python, Azure ML, and modern frameworks.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to integrate AI into enterprise workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AI/ML engineering, data pipelines, and model deployment.
• Hands-on expertise with Agentic AI and GenAI frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud ML platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Ability to convert business challenges into technical hypotheses and deliver solutions.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and data governance.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience delivering enterprise-scale AI projects.
• Contributions to open-source AI frameworks.
• Certifications in cloud ML platforms.
• Background in consulting or customer-facing solution delivery.

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
