Experience required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in back-end development, with a strong focus on Python and Django framework.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture, including service discovery, communication protocols, and data storage strategies.

Skills / Technical skills and knowledge:

•  Cloud Platform Management: Experience with managing and updating Azure ARO (OpenShift clusters) and familiarity with cloud computing principles.
•  CI/CD Pipeline Expertise: Proficiency in analyzing, upgrading, and maintaining CI/CD pipeline infrastructure, including tools like Jenkins, Argo CD, Nexus, and SonarQube.
•  Infrastructure Automation: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible for automating infrastructure deployment.
•  Containerization Technologies: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications.
•  Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks within the CI/CD pipeline.
•  Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Understanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies, with experience integrating CI/CD pipelines into software development workflows.
•  Version Control Systems (VCS): Experience with version control systems like Git for managing code repositories and facilitating collaboration.
•  Troubleshooting and Debugging: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues within CI/CD related issues.
•  Documentation Skills: Strong documentation skills to document configurations, procedures, and enhancements made to the CI/CD pipelines.
•  Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey updates, collaborate with teams, and conduct training sessions.
•  Adaptability: Capacity to adapt to changing requirements and technologies, and willingness to continuously learn and improve
•  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
•  Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira for project management is a plus.
