How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Position Title: PRODUCTION OPERATOR
- Location: Shawnee, OK

JOB DUTIES AND INFORMATION

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Fills cryogenic liquids and pure non-flammable industrial gasses according to Airgas Fill Plant Standard Operating Procedures by any of the following methods:

  • Sets pressure gauge to specified reading and watches for indication of full cylinders.

  • Adjusts valves and observes gauge to fill cylinder to specified pressure.

  • Observes scale indicator to fill cylinders to specific weight.

  • Fills cylinder to full capacity, rolls cylinder onto scale and connects vent line to release excess gas and attain prescribed weight.

  • Rolls cylinders onto platform, or positions cylinders in manifold racks manually or with the aid of material handling equipment.

  • Tests gas for purity using testing equipment.

  • Inspects or tests empty cylinders.

  • Examines exterior of cylinder for surface defects such as dents, cracks, or burns, and deciphers whether or not to quarantine the cylinder for further inspection.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Forklift experience preferred

  • Must have the ability to become Forklift Certified
