Autocompara Holding, a Santander company, is looking for a LATAM Head of Growth of its biggest and fastest growing insurtech. With the role of LATAM Head of Growth, this person will spearhead the benefits of scale as well as the rapid expansion of an already fast-growing business. The position will initially oversee Mexico, Brazil, and Chile, with the potential to include Argentina, Uruguay and Poland as the project matures. ABOUT THE CHALLENGE AND THE OPPORTUNITY

Autocompara is Santander’s biggest and fastest growing insurtech, with over 100mm € in gross fees generated per year and growing at 13% annually. It is a motor auto insurance comparison engine distributing products from the leading insurance companies in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Poland.  Autocompara distributes to customers mainly through the channels of Santander banks (e.g., branches, App…) and additionally in Mexico and Brazil with direct-to-consumer through its own digital channels. It is the market leader in Mexico, Brazil, and Chile with 35%, 6% and 23% market share.

Autocompara has a big opportunity ahead. It can double its business in the coming years by boosting the direct-to-consumer business through its own channels and entering in new segments such as the business-to-business-to-consumer.  To capture this opportunity - and to unlock benefits of scale in growth - we are integrating the technological platforms, teams and capabilities of Mexico, Brazil, and Chile under a single holding company. To contribute to this effort, we are looking for an exceptional leader that will provide leadership and strategic direction to drive growth and success. LATAM Head of Growth, will report directly to the LATAM Global General Manager of Autocompara and it will be based in São Paulo.

YOUR MISSION:

As LATAM Head of Growth, your mission will be to drive company´s growth strategy by:

  • Designing, defining, and implementing game-changing strategies of demand generation and conversion to accelerate growth for the business across all channels.
  • Optimizing customer acquisition costs by designing and executing cost-effective campaigns and continuously evaluate and refine marketing tactics to lower CAC & CPL while maintaining lead quality, maximizing ROI.
  • Leveraging teams across Technology & Operations, CRM, Data and Marketing, as well as with our insurance companies and joint ventures, to effectively implement growth initiatives
  • Improve Customer Experience and product offering to maximize conversion in digital channels and B2B2C businesses and customer lifetime value.
  • Oversee performance marketing initiatives, including PPC, SEO, and social media advertising.
  • Analyze conversion funnel data to identify drop-off points and create solutions to reduce them.
  • Defining and implementing dashboards and an environment of business intelligence for demand generation and conversion data as to establish a culture of continuous improvement and testing around key indicators.
  • Measure and analyze campaign performance to inform future strategies.
  • Collaborate with local product and design teams to enhance the overall user experience and value proposition.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform UX improvements.
  • Analyze customer behavior and implement loyalty programs to enhance engagement.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Implement training and support programs to empower the inside sales team.
  • Supporting the local insurance heads to achieve their growth targets and monthly results.

The position initially will not have a direct team to lead, although there is the need to positive influence and lead the international teams across Latam towards que global strategy for Autocompara.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

The position will require proven and relevant experience with demonstrated track record of:

  • Driving demand generation and optimizing conversion in both direct and B2B2C channels, driving customer acquisition by leveraging:
    • Existing customer base and CRM.
    • Digital marketing (performance, paid media, SEO).
    • Organic.
    • Brokers, agents, and promoters.
  • Working in a large multinational corporation with matrix structures leading change through positive influence across different units and/or countries.
  • Positively influencing C-level executives.
  • Managing multiple cross-functional projects in a fast-paced growth and creative environment.
  • Executing, implementing, and realizing impact above concept and theory, making things happen whether big or small in ways that are more practical and swifter than perfect.
  • Leading and inspiring a high-performance cross-functional team.
  • Navigating Santander as an organization, knowing different stakeholders and processes, as well as being familiarized with the culture. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional experience, of which at least 3 years within the abovementioned responsibilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND TRAITS

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge of insurance products, regulations, and industry practices around customer acquisition, with a global perspective.
  • Very analytical, methodical and detail driven. Ability to read and identify small nuances in data and trends that drive or explain performance.
  • Data analysis and visualization skills with an ability to simplify data and findings for effective executive communication.
  • Great interpersonal skills and stakeholder management abilities. People person.
  • Very high proficiency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in international teams with an ability to adapt to cultural differences.
  • University Degree. MBA or postgraduate studies will be highly valued.
