This Position reports to:
Local Division Controller
ABB Robotics is looking for an experienced finance professional to take responsibility for financial management across multiple countries. The role combines strong operational finance ownership with close cooperation with regional management.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
Preferred location: Slovakia
You will be mainly accountable for:
Manage financial accounting, reporting, and controlling for the legal entity/entities in Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, local laws, and internal controls.
Ensure statutory filings, taxes, VAT, audits, and banking operations are properly handled.
Act as a strategic financial partner to regional leadership, supporting decision-making and optimizing financial performance.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Oversee project costs, contracts, and profitability, providing financial insights and recommendations.
Ensure adherence to ABB values, ethics, internal controls, and company processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CPA, ACA, CMA or equivalent preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, project finance, or regional finance management, ideally in a multinational industrial environment.
Languages: Slovak - native, Hungarian - fluent, English - fluent
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and project controlling.
Knowledge of managing finance across multiple countries and understanding of local regulatory requirements.
Advanced skills in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Excel, and financial analytics tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, proactive approach, and focus on process improvement.

Salary conditions: from €3,500 gross + variable salary component, with the final salary level assessed based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
