About the Role

Responsible for maximising the sales of AIA products and services through a network of agents to meet individual and team quotas and AIA business objectives for Kota Kinabalu market.

  • Plan and strategize quality recruitment activities and work closely with Agency Leaders to achieve the company’s assigned regional recruitment target. 
  • Work with Agency Leaders to ride on company available technology support / Elite Academy ecosystem to monitor Life Planners' performance.
  • Quality Recruitment Performance Analysis.
  • Maximize distribution productivity and effectiveness by aligning initiatives to segmentation of agency force.
  • Regular visitation and meet-up to gather on the field information necessary for strategic planning and solve ad-hoc branch level issues.
  • Collaborate with Operation, Agency Records, Recruitment, Compliance, Legal and Actuary to compliment and supplement the Agency Business.
  • Act as a mediator on any agency related conflicts as an effective and efficient communicator between company and agency force.
  • Build the right culture and people systems to create and deliver sustainable business performance. 
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet sales development and/or other requirements.
     

Job Requirements:

  • Tertiary Education from a reputable University.
  • Candidates with AMII/ ACII/ AAII or other insurance professional qualification will have better advantage. 
  • Minimum 3 years in related General Insurance business or marketing, ideally in a high growth business environment.
  • Outgoing, sociable, resourceful, independent and able to communicate with all levels.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with flair for innovation and creativity.
