Avanade is looking to hire a senior professional to lead the presales function for Business Applications (BizApps)—someone capable of navigating complex environments, influencing at a strategic level, and managing uncertainty effectively. 

This person will bring strong handson experience implementing and leading solutions in Dynamics 365 and enterprise applications across the Microsoft ecosystem. 

They will be the strategic and technical reference point for clients and internal teams, leading the commercial strategy, strengthening BizApps’ value proposition in the market, and positioning themselves as a trusted advisor for Avanade and its customers. 

Their practical experience in real BizApps projects will enable them to recommend solutions based on best practices, functional insight, and clear business impact. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Go to Market 

  • Design and lead the commercial strategy for the BizApps area in alignment with the regional leadership team. 

  • Drive adoption of Dynamics 365 through proven expertise in real-world implementations, process modernization, and digital transformation roadmaps. 

  • Align joint strategy with Microsoft and other strategic partners to maximize co-selling opportunities. 

  • Define a clear value proposition that helps clients understand Avanade’s differentiated strengths in each proposal. 

Client & Partner Engagement 

  • Represent Avanade in public presentations, industry events, and executive client meetings (Clevel). 

  • Understand client needs and translate them into scalable solutions using Dynamics 365 and custom business applications. 

  • Build strong relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a strategic advisor for business transformation initiatives. 

  • Maintain close alignment with Microsoft’s Solution Specialists and Account Executive in relevant clients. 

Commercial Support & Presales 

  • Collaborate closely with sales and delivery teams to shape highimpact proposals focused on business value. 

  • Contribute to commercial proposals, including effort estimation, team composition, and solution approach. 

  • Lead demos, workshops, envisionings, and presales activities proactively. 

  • Guide clients on BizApps adoption regarding solution design, architecture, integration, governance, and evolution. 

Service Management & Value Realization 

  • Apply best practices for ongoing management of BizApps environments, covering enhancements, optimization, and scalability. 

  • Understand governance, ALM, and licensing/cost-management principles to maximize the value of enterprise applications. 

Leadership & Culture 

  • Work with multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous learning. 

  • Promote the development of technical, functional, and commercial capabilities within the BizApps team.

Experience & Skills 

  • Demonstrated experience in presales, consulting, or commercial leadership roles focused on Dynamics 365. 

  • Experience preparing clienttailored commercial proposals, including estimations and team definition. 

  • Strong, handson understanding of the BizApps ecosystem, with direct project delivery experience (not only theoretical knowledge). 

  • Ability to translate business challenges into functional and technical solution designs. 

  • Excellent communication, storytelling, influence, and presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences. 

  • Proven ability to define commercial strategies and lead their execution. 

  • Strong client orientation and strategic business understanding. 

  • Languages: Portuguese and English (fluent), Spanish nice to have. 

 Education 

  • University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Telecommunications, or related fields. 

  • Certifications in Dynamics 365, business application architecture, or commercial leadership are a plus.
