We are now looking for a Senior Network Engineer and leader. NVIDIA Network Engineering team is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join its fast paced and results oriented team. Challenges include balancing project responsibilities with escalated operational issues. If you have a primary skill set in the routing and switching foundation, with the ability to define and lead primarily LABs, Data Center & Site network projects globally this job might be for you.
What you’ll be doing:
Designs, plans and coordinates the implementation of network technologies in support of defined requirements generated by business and growth demands.
Validate project requirements, define project scope, develop project schedules and produce detailed designs for assigned projects.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
Participate in incident response to resolve escalated service issues involving transit lines, cross-connects, switches and other parts of networking infrastructure.
Use and troubleshoot using monitoring tools and has in-depth knowledge of alerting and infrastructure management.
What we need to see:
Networking certification desired – CCNP certificate (CCIE is an advantage)
5+ years proven as network engineer experience - progressive experience in network engineering support environment (MUST).
In-depth understanding of communication protocols TCP/IP and LAN switching protocols as STP, VLANs, L2, L3, QoS.
Hands On experience & deep understanding of Checkpoint & Palo Alto Firewalls, load balancing platforms (an advantage), SSL VPN platforms ,Cisco ,HP & Arista switches.
Experience with: WAN circuits and protocols (MPLS, DMVPN, Optimization), Dynamic IP Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), troubleshooting methodologies.
High level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
Knowledge of network management, network availability and capacity planning.
Expertise in interfacing with carriers to manage circuit delivery, troubleshooting and migration.
