Job Description:
The Disney Decision Science and Integration (DDSI) team leverages advanced technologies, data analytics, and scientific approaches such as optimization and statistical modeling to build innovative tools that shape business decisions across The Walt Disney Company. We support Disney Entertainment (ABC, The Walt Disney Studios, Disney+, Hulu), ESPN, Disney Experiences (Theme Parks, Cruise Line, Consumer Products, DVC), and Corporate Finance with strategic applications that enable data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project management for department initiatives, covering all project phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closeout.
Serve as Agile/ScrumMaster, facilitating ceremonies and progress using Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall as appropriate.
Oversee analytical and IT product development, ensuring risk mitigation and proper documentation.
Develop and improve PMO standards, tools, processes, and governance; manage related financial and operational activities.
Manage annual capital planning, monitor budgets, and prepare financial forecasts.
Communicate proactively with project teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Facilitate meetings and present project status and outcomes clearly.
Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
Qualifications:
5+ years managing large-scale projects from feasibility to deployment.
3+ years leading analytical software development teams; strong understanding of SDLC.
Leadership experience in complex, AI‑enabled data projects within hybrid environments.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Planner, Smartsheet, Jira, GitLab).
Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive consensus, and mentor others.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
PMP or Certified ScrumMaster.
Consulting experience and Disney business knowledge.
Familiarity with travel/hospitality industry and analytics in statistics, engineering, marketing, sales, or revenue management.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
Preferred Education: Master’s degree
The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $123,100 to $165,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
