Your Role at impact.com:

Business Development Manager -  Supply will play a pivotal role in expanding our supply-side partnerships, focusing on securing high-value deals and driving our commerce media and commerce content supply opportunities. This role requires a deep understanding of the performance media industry, with experience in affiliate and proven ability to source and close strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate is highly autonomous, capable of executing strategy, structuring deals, and working across cross-functional teams to optimize and grow our supply network.

The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in business development, media sales, and publisher monetization to drive revenue growth and improve publisher yield. They will proactively identify new partnership opportunities, attend industry events, and cultivate relationships to expand our supply footprint. This role demands a strong commercial acumen, hands-on execution skills, and the ability to navigate the challenges of an evolving technology landscape.

For retailers, our direct partnership model opens up incremental revenue streams in commerce media. Advertisers are taking advantage of new partnership types and channels we are creating in content and shopping.  Commerce content publishers leverage impact.com’s technology to monetize their content with contextual product placements. By placing our platform and centering around partnerships, we’re driving greater transparency, profitability, and customer growth across the performance marketing ecosystem. 

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Supply Growth Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our supply-side partnerships by identifying and securing high-value publisher deals. You will play a critical role in driving our commerce media and content initiatives, working with both traditional publishers and brands operating as publishers. This is a high-impact, execution-focused role within a fast-growing technology company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development & Partnerships
    • Identify, prospect, and secure high-value publisher partnerships, including brands acting as publishers and commerce content publishers.
    • Independently source leads, develop relationships, and attend industry events to expand our supply-side network.
    • Structure, negotiate, and close deals that align with our commerce media and content initiatives.
    • Maintain and grow relationships with key publishers and partners to optimize performance and yield.
    • Strategic Execution & Relationship Management
    • Develop and execute strategies to increase the volume and quality of supply within our ecosystem.
    • Partner closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure seamless deal execution and implementation.
    • Deliver customized solutions based on a deep understanding of publishers’ needs and business objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers and publishers to foster long-term collaboration.
    • Analytical & Technical Expertise
    • Ability to run performance analyses to optimize partnerships, including key metrics such as eCPM, yield, CTR, and revenue per click.
    • Generate insights and create reporting dashboards to track publisher success.
    • Develop mock-ups, presentations, and sales materials independently to effectively communicate value propositions.
    • Work collaboratively with product and ad operations teams to refine offerings and improve execution scalability.

What You Have:

  • 5+ years of success publisher development, business development, or partnerships - ad networks an advantage 
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing, e-commerce, retail media, and digital media.
  • Proven track record of identifying, structuring, and closing publisher deals in a commerce content or advertising environment.
  • Strong familiarity with publisher monetization models, ad yield management, and performance optimization metrics.
  • Ability to independently develop and deliver high-level presentations.
  • First-rate communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to craft compelling pitches tailored to different business needs.
  • Highly collaborative mindset with experience working cross-functionally across sales, customer success, product, and ad operations teams.
  • Self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong sense of ownership over results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment where adaptability and strategic execution are key.

Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year, plus an additional 25% Variable Commission Plan ($25,000-$30,000)  and generous stock (RSU) award
