About You
As the Logistic Coordinator you will be the key link between our customers, logistics suppliers, and planning teams to ensure safe delivery of Kimberly-Clark products while maintaining optimal service and quality.
Moreover, you will interact across a multi-country team, from sales to production, with significant daily management tasks involving third parties. This role encompasses oversight of logistics and distribution in collaboration with different markets.
You will report to the Southern Europe Logistic Leader and you will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).
Location: the role will be based at Villey-Saint-Etienne (VSE) Mill. We can offer a hybrid model (till 2 days on remote weekly) for candidates already based in France, in the same area.
YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Logistics & Distribution:
Monitor logistics and distribution KPIs against targets; take corrective actions as needed.
Manage logistics suppliers daily and conduct business reviews.
Organize regular price reviews and challenge network quality and prices.
Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery failures.
Analyze best practices to reduce costs in collaboration with the Customer logistics team.
Warehousing:
Manage logistics providers through regular reviews and steering committees.
Conduct continuous improvement sessions and manage strategy.
Validate costs and invoices monthly, and anticipate corrective actions for overstock scenarios.
Stock Management:
Ensure stock availability as required by customers and liaise with the S&OP team.
Lead the management of contracts, including steering committees and annual price reviews.
Continuous Improvement:
Define and manage the Continuous Improvement Plan with suppliers and participate in innovative projects.
Oversee operational excellence initiatives.
Financial Control:
Define and review the yearly budget for transportation and warehousing.
Conduct audits on vendor charges and utilize SAP for accurate service charge processes.
Safety Management:
Ensure all logistics operations comply with safety requirements and are continually improved, tracking events with action plans.
Lead monthly audits in the French Warehouse.
Supervise safety management processes in coordination with the mill and develop a safety mindset among teams.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Diploma or equivalent level
Previous working experience in Supply Chain
Strong purchasing and supplier management skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of SAP is essential
Fluent in English and French
