About you

As a Paid Search Senior Associate applicants should have at least 3 years managing Google Ads or Microsoft Ads search accounts. Candidates ideally have experience managing multi-language, multi-country accounts, with budgets under management near or exceeding $1 million USD per year. All candidates must be conversationally fluent in both English and Spanish. At a minimum, candidates must be familiar with managing Google Search Ad Campaigns, particularly Dynamic Search Ad (DSA) campaigns. Experience managing and deploying pMax, Demand Gen, or YouTube campaigns is a plus. In addition to technical search skills, ideal candidates will be avid learners, strong communicators, proactive, and accountable to delivering significant results.

About this role

As a Paid Search Senior Associate on Udemy’s D2C paid search team based in Mexico City, you’ll contribute to Udemy’s learner acquisition efforts, primarily in LATAM. You’ll be tasked with directly contributing to Udemy’s mission of improving lives through learning by reaching and inspiring new learners to upskill and advance in their careers with Udemy.

What you'll be doing

  • Create, optimize, and scale at least $3 million in annual paid search investment across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to maximize program growth.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on channel performance using a diverse set of in-platform and internal metrics; present insights to internal stakeholders and upward to leadership.
  • Design, set up, and evaluate experiments on messaging, targeting, and site experience testing; suggest next steps and future tests based on learnings.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Decision Science teams to improve eventing signals, marketing measurement, automation, and ad-level or on-site personalization.
  • Collaborate with acquisition channel managers on cross-channel strategies.
  • Manage relationships with ad agencies, Google, and Bing account teams.

What you’ll have 

  • Familiarity with D2C Google Ads accounts focused on purchases or direct consumer sales, Smart-bidding or mCPC management towards seasonal sales targets, with particular emphasis on key periods of elevated seasonality.
  • Familiarity with accounts in multiple languages, or multiple countries. Experience working with centralized or 3rd party creative teams or vendors for localized text, image, or video creative.
    Advanced familiarity and specialized skills with tools like spreadsheets, including advanced analytics and formula usage (XLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMIFS, INDIRECT) conditional formatting, chart and visual design, and presentation of data insights via decks, documents, or other types of presentations.
  • Advanced familiarity with either DSA, YouTube, pMax, Demand Gen, or Display-based prospecting and remarketing campaigns, as well as providing feedback on creatives for use in Google Ads media inventory.

In addition to a base salary, this role is also eligible for benefits and equity.
