The Director of Title Express provides overall direction, purpose, and motivation in the areas of Employee Development, Customer Satisfaction, Net Profit, and Growth. Challenges team to meet or exceed aggressive measurable company driven goals, metrics, and objectives.

Essential Duties:

  • Hires, trains, and motivates Management Team to exceed company and customer expectations.

  • Monitors performance conducts performance reviews, progressive discipline, and compensation reviews.

  • Creates an environment of teamwork, motivation, and commitment to legendary customer service.

  • Drives team to hit key performance metrics

  • Looks for ways to streamline efficiencies and productivity

  • Communicates company goals and objectives, effectively prioritizes objectives and initiatives.

  • Ensures safety, quality control, customer needs are consistently maintained.

  • Participates in regular planning sessions as appropriate. Provides leadership through the planning cycle.

  • Defines and adheres to budgetary needs; hires to headcount plan; identifies and implements cost saving measures. Balances staffing and distribution of volume.

  • Resolves customer complaints both timely and with courtesy.

  • Collaborates with Sales team

  • Works closely with IT for system enhancements

  • Oversees a team of five Assistant General Managers

  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required by management.

    Required Skills and Experience

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of automotive/Auction industry.

  • Proven ability to quickly adapt to differing working environments in order to accomplish objectives and achieve results by motivating others into action.

  • Ability to influence, and interface with all levels of leadership within COPART organization.

  • Experience in core and leadership competencies, including establishing collaborative working relationships, project management, planning and organizing, building accountability, follow-up, process improvement, contingency planning, communication, attention to detail and presentation skills.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience within multi-location environment.
